Lid

Creamware tureen lid, part of a dinner service. Transfer-printed in black on both ends of the lid is an oval stipple engraving of Rear-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) after Edridge (see PAD3895). It has a loop handle surrounded by hand-painted decoration in black, and a hand-painted rim. One of a pair (AAA4767 and AAA4768).
