Transcript of a journal, kept by Henry and Hannah Diggens, of a voyage to St Kitts, 1836-1857. The original journals include text written by Henry Diggens of a voyage commencing on 3 August 1836 and of a return to England in 1842; and a journal kept by Mrs Hannah Diggens from 1843 to 1857. Also contained are two items: a letter written by Henry Diggens to Benjamin D Green, 28 May 1846, re: arrival at Barbados in 1846; and notes/memo on a voyage to St Kitts, 1846.
