A bone china figure of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (1921-) designed by Peggy Davies. The figure, painted in full colour, is in the full dress uniform of Admiral of the Fleet and wearing orders and decorations. It is standing, the right foot slightly forward against a marble pillar and is inscribed under the base 'MADE IN ENGLAND ROYAL DOULTON TABLEWARE LTD 1981. H.R.H. Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh. Worldwide edition of 1,500. This is number 1246'. The figure has a wooden display plinth and a fitted box.
