[The Life of a Sailor] 'Safely moor'd in Greenwich Hospital'
Music cover of Charles W. Glover's 'The Life of a Sailor' mounted as a framed print ( with the titling masked). It depicts a seated one legged Greenwich Pensioner. At the top and bottom of the print are six scenes of his earlier life, entitled 'The Waterman', 'The Farewell', 'The Yarn', 'The Storm', 'The Battle' and 'The Return'. On either side of the main picture are a list of battles on plinths topped with the busts of Blake and Nelson. See PAH3333, another copy, for notes: also PAG7011, PAI5989.
