National Physical Laboratory - Master Frequency Control
The Rugby MSF transmitter broadcast time signals from c1990-2007 for navigational use at sea and domestic use with radio-controlled clocks and watches. The equipment comprises of four standard racks mounted side by side, including two atomic clocks and monitoring equipment that compares three time and frequency standards: Rubidium atomic clock; caesium master atomic clock; GPS-locked clock.
