Silent Might
Watercolour showing British warships in an atmospheric night scene. The bows of the nearest warship and moon above dominate the composition. On the reverse is a framed poem written in calligraphic style which begins: "While Britain's heroic armies fight ashore, Britain's ships keep ward and watch upon the waters, silent but mighty defenders..."
