Arabia (1852); La Plata (1851)

A detailed longitudinal section of the engine by Messrs Robert Napier & Sons for the trans-Atlantic liners Arabia (1852) and La Plata (1851), both wooden brig-rigged paddle steamers. Arabia was owned by the British & North American Royal Mail Steam (later Cunard) and La Plata was owned by Royal Mail Steam Packet Company.

This is attached along its left edge to MKW0002.1 and MKW0002.3.
