Round silver snuff box, in repoussé work on the lid, a profile portrait of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) facing left with caption 'ADMIRAL LD NELSON BORN SEPTR 1758'. Inscribed on the base between two oak branches 'CONQUEROR AT ABOUKIR. 1 AUGT 1798 COPENHAGEN APRIL 1801 TRAFALGAR 21 OCTR. 1805. WHERE HE GLORIOUSLY FELL'.
