Snuff box
Snuff box commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The box is rectangular in shape with a hinged lid. The lid is carved with a basket weave pattern and decorated with gold studs. It is mounted with a Tassie cameo portrait of Nelson, glazed and in a gold mount. The cameo is signed by the maker on the termination of the right arm 'Tassie 1805'.
