Portrait plaque depicting Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). A cast iron plaque, rectangular in shape with cut-off corners. It bears an oval portrait of Nelson after de Vaere within a border of foliage. Below the portrait, is a foul anchor and two flowers. The front is painted black. The maker's initials are 'LN'
