Handle plate
Gilt-brass handle plate commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). An oval furniture plate, stamped with a key pattern border and a profile portrait of Nelson in the centre facing right. This is flanked by a warship to the right and naval trophies to the left and is inscribed 'TRAFALGAR'. The related handle and bolt fittings are missing.
