Silver card case with a hinged lid. It has London hallmarks and the date letter for 1897-8. The maker's initials are 'F.W.' It is inscribed: 'CHANNEL FLEET REGATTA / 1897 OFFICERS RACE HMS MAJESTIC / O.H. STAHLSNECHT, BOW / L.C.S. WOOLCOMBE / P.R.L. NICHOLSON / P. MUIR / W.J. DULL / C.C. FRASER STROKE / B.S. HARTLEY, COX.'
