Freedom casket
Oak freedom casket presented to Admiral of the Fleet, Andrew Browne Cunningham, Viscount Cunningham of Hyndhope (1883-1963) with a silver inscribed plaque on the lid inscribed: 'Presented to Admiral of the Fleet, The Right Honourable The Viscount Cunningham of Hyndhope K.T., G.C.B., O.M., D.S.O., by the City and County of the City of Lincoln, 23rd June 1956.' A plaque inside the lid reads: 'This box is made from the medieval timber of the Cathedral.' The inside of the casket is lined with blue velvet.
