Napkin rong- SS 'Jelunga'

A electroplated napkin ring used on the British India Steamship Navigation Company ship SS 'Jelunga'. The badge of the B.I.S.N.CO can be seen on the ring, consisting of Britannia with a shield in the left hand and a swallow tailed Union flag in the right hand. A ship can be seen behind Britannia. Inscribed on the ring are the words 'B.I.A.S. LD 70". B.I.A.S. stands for 'British Indian Associated Steamer'. The ring is tarnished and the plate is worn.
