Napkin Ring- SS 'Tara'
An electroplated napkin ring used by the British India Steamship Navigation Company ship SS 'Tara'. Inscribed on the ring isthe badge of the B.I.S.N.CO, consisting of the figure Britannia with a shield on the left side and a swallowtailed flag on the right side with a ship seen behind them. Inscribed on the ring are the words "B.I.A.S LD (British India Associated Steamship) SS 'TARA" along with the number '8'. The napkin riing is tarnished.
