A bronze circular plaque in a circular frame with silver mounts depicting the Fleet Air Arm badge (without the crown). On a silver plaque below: 'PRESENTED TO HMS CONWAY BY MRS W.R. HARLEY IN MEMORY OF HER HUSBAND FLYING OFFICER WILLIAM RONALD HARLEY (LIEUTENANT RN) KILLED OFF INVERGORDON. CONWAY 11TH OCTOBER 1937. 1927-1930. PER ARDUA AD ASTRA.'
