Two cut-throat razors with steel blades inscribed 'WARRENTED' and bone handles inscribed: 'ADMIRAL LORD NELSON'. In a red leather covered box with 'SILVER STEEL RAZORS' on the lid. This is contained in a black morocco outer box. With a typed label: 'LORD NELSON'S RAZORS his body-servant, TOM ALLEN, a lad from Burnham Thorpe who had been a seaman in the AGAMEMNON , used these to shave the Admiral after the loss of his right arm. Lent by the Trustees of the National Maritime Museum'.
