Trousers
Trousers. Used on Nares' Arctic expedition 1875. Belonged to Lieutenant A A C Parr, HMS "Alert". The trousers are flap fronted with a waistband lined with cotton fabric. The ends of the legs are gathered. Garments have horn buttons.
