Royal Charter sword knuckleguard
A brass sword knuckleguard that belonged to the steam clipper Royal Charter. It is inscribed with the words: 'ROYAL CHARTER'. This ship was wrecked on the coast of Anglesey 26 October 1859. The inside of the knuckleguard is tarnished.
