Miniature brass obelisk inscribed: 'H.M.S. EURYDICE FOUNDED IN SANDOWN BAY OFF ISLE OF WIGHT ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON MARCH 24TH 1878 This Obelisk is made of the HANDLES of the DOORS of the OFFICERS CABINS and was cast in the BRASS FOUNDRY, PORTSMOUTH DOCK YARD.'
