Admiral (1869); Service vessel; Tug; Paddle tug
Scale: 1:24. A half block model of the starboard side of the paddle tug Admiral (1869) made entirely of wood and painted in realistic colours. The hull is painted light pink-brown below the waterline and black above, with the vessel’s name and a sunburst motif painted in gold on the paddle box. Fittings include a single foremast, superstructure placed between the paddle boxes, single, tall, black funnel abaft the superstructure and rudder. The model is displayed on a wooden backboard with frame edge painted cream overall.
