HMS Rattlesnake; Warship; Torpedo boat
Scale: 1:24. A half block model of the port side of the torpedo boat HMS Rattlesnake (1886), made entirely in wood with metal fittings and painted in realistic colours. The hull is painted brick red below the waterline and black above. Details include ram bow; bow torpedo tube; stump foremast and mainmast; and single funnel painted ochre. The model is displayed on a backboard painted off-white with a mahogany-stained frame with bevelled edge. On backboard ‘(31)’.
