Ryelands (1887); Cargo vessel: Schooner
Scale: Unknown. A half block model of the starboard side of the cargo schooner Ryelands (1887), made entirely in wood, painted and polished. The hull is polished wood below the waterline composed of four horizontal pieces of wood, and black above. Fittings include a stump bowsprit, foremast, and mainmast, rudder, and keel made from a separate piece of wood. The model is displayed on a rectangular mahogany backboard with quarter circle edges and rounded corners.
