Britomart (1905); Recreation vessel; Yacht
Scale: 1:24? A half block model of the starboard side of the 52-foot yacht Brittomart (1905) mad entirely in wood and painted in realistic colours. The hull is painted black below the waterline, white above. Fittings comprise a stump mainmast and bowsprit and integral rudder. The model is displayed on a polished dark mahogany backboard with beaded edge. On ivorine plaque attached to bottom right-hand corner of backboard ‘Britomart 52ft linear rating designed by A Mylne 1904 Dimensions: - 47.5 L, W.L. X 13.2 x 8.75 Draught’.
