Passenger vessel; Boat

Scale: Unknown. A full hull model of an open boat (circa 1830) made entirely in wood and painted in realistic colours. The hull is painted a copper colour below the waterline, black above, with a gold-painted strake and white-painted interior. Fittings include a triangular grating at the bow; provision for six oars either side with square apertures set into the top strakes; six thwarts, their ends painted white and the remainder polished wood; side and stern seat; and a rudder that projects well above the stern post.
