Scale: 1:8. A model of a Wasteney Smith improved pattern anchor made entirely in brass and either plated or lacquered. The shank is rectangular in section and tapers to a rounded top to which is attached a D-ring shackle that swivels on a bolt secured with a wedge. Towards the bottom of the shank is a double shackle which pivots on a central rivet. Attached to the crown is another D-shackle. On the side faces of the crown are two inscriptions: 'Smiths patent B' and 'Stockless anchor 18'. The arms have flat rectangular bottoms and tall integral flukes that are half the height of the shank. The side faces of the arms have round headed bolts.
