Warship

Scale: Unknown. Model of a section of the frame of a warship made of wood with metal fittings and stained and varnished to a realistic finish. The model shows a section of the hull with the full frames in position and the filling frames in the lower part of the hull, the method of bolting the full frames together, keel, framing for five decks, deck planking and hull planking. Three gunports are shown, one on the gundeck and two on the main deck. The upper three decks are shown with a small section of planking. The deck beams are shown tied to the inner hull which itself has been partly planked. The orlop deck and the deck above are entirely in frame. The model is annotated "B".
