Sectional model; Bow model; Anchor model
Scale: 1:12. Model of part of the bow and foredeck of a vessel showing a cathead and anchor. The hull and foredeck have been made from wood - the deck has been stained and varnished, and the hull has been painted black and off-white inboard. The iron cathead and anchor, together with the anchor chain, have not been painted. A paper label has been applied to the surface of the deck with a hand-written inscription which reads "A model on a 1in scale of a cathead and its fittings and showing an anchor in its letting go position". There is a loose piece of chain stored with the model.
