Equipment model; Anchor model
Scale:Unknown. One of a series of seven models showing the construction of a Perrin anchor. Made almost entirely of wood, the model consists of approximately twenty-five triangular sections which form a circular and tapering hollow rod, all of which are held in place by two metal circular bands. The smaller end has been cut across at an angle of about 45 degrees, while the larger end has been cut away in several places to reveal the make-up of the 'jacket' which is wrapped around a solid core during the construction of the shank and palms.
