Full dress sword belt
Lloyd's Patriotic Fund sword belt awarded to Capt Henry Blackwood. Leather belt covered with blue velvet embroidered with foliage in gold wire and sequins. Two lion's head gilt metal buckles. Two buckles to adjust length decorated with palm leaves and anchors. Fastened by a round disc which fits through a circular clasp with a slit in the centre. Disc depicts Hercules with a Union Flag shield slaying a hydra. Foliage decoration at sides of belt clasp. Inscription "PATRIOTIC FUND 1803". Two gilt metal spring sword clips.
