Irish green ensign
There is evidence that this flag was used as an unofficial ensign by Irish merchant vessels before 1919. The ensign is made of wool bunting with a cotton hoist. The ends are machine sewn and the edges are the selvedges of the fabric. A rope is attached to hoist the flag. The flag has a green field with a Union Flag in the canton and a gold Irish harp in the fly. The design is entirely printed.
