Liquid compass
Bowl: Spherical. Glazed. Set in suspension box. Has corrector magnet box on top. Light attachment on front of glass.. Two fill holes on side. White on inside. Black lubberline and spike to keep card from falling of pivot. Lubber line and spike on inside of bowl. Box is on four screw feet.
Card: Thin metal strip marked to four cardinal points and 3, 6, 12, 15, 21, 24, 30, 33. Has cap at centre with spike. Has four struts.
Needle: Two needles slung beneath card.
Pivot: Stalk and cup.
Box 5.5" x 5.5" x 3" ( 14 x 14 x 7.6cm)
