Monkey jacket

Monkey jacket of Master (Captain), Merchant Navy. Regulation pattern with four Merchant Navy buttons each side. Four rows of gold lace with the centre two crossed to form a diamond shape. Twelve medal ribbons.

Monkey jacket is from the uniform of Edward, Prince of Wales, later Edward VIII and Duke of Windsor.
