Button once worn on a uniform of an unknown shipping company. Gilt brass domed button with a rope twist edge. Within a raised cicular border witha stippled background writing is LA BANDERA ESPANOLA. Rectangular black flag (indicated by vertical and horizontal shading crossing each other) with striped disk on lined ground.
On the reverse of the button the maker is inscribed: BY APPOINTMENT RAYNER LIVERPOOL
