Sword
Honourable East India Company sword. It has a gilt brass five-ball hilt with an octagonal cushion pommel. On the reeded ivory grip is a cartouche engraved with the H.E.I.C. lion crest. The blade is straight, with traces of engraving. The scabbard is missing. This sword is part of the Spinney collection which includes, in total, sixteen swords, five dirks and three pistols AAA3114 (pair) and AAA3115.
