Cutlass

Cutlass, the hilt of the cutlass consists of a black steel double-disc shaped guard. The cast iron grip is grooved. The guard is engraved with the Roman numeral 'XI' above 'LD13'. The steel blade is straight and flat. The obverse of the blade is engraved with a crown motif above the letters 'GR' and the number '4'. The reverse of the blade is engraved with the name 'J Gill'.
