Table time-piece

Table time-piece. 8-day timepiece; fusee with chain transmission + maintaining power. Dead-beat escapement with 60t wheel and half-seconds pendulum consisting of steel rod & frame enclosing navette-section tin bob. Mahogany case, flat top with simple mouldings - restored and possibly altered by P.G.Dawson. Engraved brass dial plate of "round-Gothic" form, with 45mm dia white enamel rise-and-fall regulation dial in arch. 140mm dia white enamel dial, of 'regulator' pattern, minutes at periphery, seconds below 60 (indicating true half-seconds), hours above 30.
