Pocket chronometer
Pocket chronometer in an 18 carat gold Hunter case. Hall mark 1877. Half-plate movement with fusee and keyless winding (disengaged when cover is closed). Earnshaw detent escapement; free-sprung helical balance-spring and compensated balance. Flat enamel dial with up-down below XII, seconds above VI. Steel hands.
