Liquid compass

Card: A mica card attached to float by metal framework. Card is white with black markings graduated to quarter points and quadrantally in degrees.

Needle: The eight needles are each held in tubes. There is a set of four at the top of the dome and one at the bottom. Lengths 4 x 4.5" (11.5 cm) and 4 x 4" (10.2 cm)

Pivot: The jewelled pivot cap is set into the domed float and can be removed by a screw at the top of the dome.

O.A. height 2.25" (5.8 cm)
