Come along to one of our Starlight Sessions, workshops designed for families of children with SEND as we explore space and time through movement and craft.
In partnership with Flamingo Chicks, astronomers at Royal Observatory Greenwich have produced a range of workshops that explore space, time, culture and heritage. Each workshop has been designed for families of children with SEND.
While these workshops are free to attend, pre-booking is required, due to limits on capacity.
Dance Workshops by Flamingo Chicks
Flamingo Chicks is a charity that has been enriching the lives of disabled children and their families through inclusive dance and movement workshops for the past 13 years.
They work to combat social isolation in disabled children and their families through a mixture of dance, drama and storytelling.
These Starlight Sessions are a partnership between the Royal Observatory in Greenwich and Flamingo Chicks, helping families discover astronomy in a fun and interactive way, make friends, and explore how amazing our bodies can be!
The workshop leader will cater to a wide variety of needs, including visual impairments, autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and PMLD, so you can feel confident about attending no matter what your access needs are.

Our first dance workshop will be held on Tuesday 28 July at 11am.
