Letter from Nevil Maskelyne to Edward Pigott on observations of the comet discovered by Reverend Edward Gregory.

Maskelyne describes his observations of the comet discovered by Reverend Edward Gregory at Langar, near Nottingham, on 8 January 1793. Maskelyne also describes his role in preparing Taylor's Logarithms which shall be printed soon.

In a postscript, Maskelyne describes trying different collimation wires of varying thickness in his telescope, when observing the comet.
