Letter from Nevil Maskelyne to Edward Pigott with observation of the moon.

In this letter, Maskelyne provides Pigott with his observations of the Moon's right acension, as seen on several nights in November and December. Maskelyne discusses the accuracy of their work in relation to that of Mayer and La Caille.

There is a lengthy postscript about Maskelyne's observations of the Moon as it crosses the meridian, accompanied by some notes about the instruments used.
