Private diary kept by Duff as second-in-command of the Fourth Battle Squadron, 1914-1916
Bound volume containing a private diary kept by Duff between 22 October 1914 and 26 November 1916. During this period Duff had the rank of rear-admiral and was second in command of the Fourth Battle Squadron, Grand Fleet, in HMS EMPEROR OF INDIA (1913) and later in HMS SUPERB (1907).
