Private diary kept by Duff during the British naval mission to the USA, 1918
Notebook containing a private diary kept by Duff during his visit to the USA as part of the naval mission headed by Sir Eric Geddes, First Lord of the Admiralty, between 28 September 1918 and 13 October 1918. Including two loose photographs showing representatives on board the passenger liner ALSATIAN (1913). At this time Duff had the rank of vice-admiral and was Assistant Chief of Naval Staff at the Admiralty.
