Great Eastern being built, 4 Jun 1856
A view from the river along the foreshore at Millwall, looking towards Greenwich in the distance, with Brunel's 'Great Eastern' in starboard-quarter view under construction in June 1856. Three funnels are up, the fourth (aft) being built, as afre the paddle-wheels. There is a slight incomplete sketch of a sailing vessel above.
