A dogger at anchor
Robinson considers that this drawing is ‘probably’ by van de Velde the Younger. However, it may have been drawn over by a later hand which ‘throws some doubt on the whole drawing’ which has a false signature in the lower left corner. There is a drawing of a small boeier on the reverse. A dogger was a Dutch fishing vessel. The drawing has the false signature 'W.V.V.J'.
