A smalschip running before a strong breeze
A starboard-bow view of a smalschip in a rough sea, with the wind broad on her starboard quarter. Beyond her is a ship in the eye of the wind with her fore course flat aback and her main course braced round and shaking. There is another smalschip to the right with a further vessel beyond, and another sprit rigged craft on the left, all running towards the viewer.
