Bell Rock Light House during a storm from the North East

The Bell Rock is an almost submerged red sandstone reef situated approximately 12 miles from Arbroath. The conical granite and sandstone tower was finished in 1811. It was designed and built for the Northern Lighthouse Board by Robert Stevenson. The lighthouse has been unmanned since 1988 and is now controlled remotely. Technique includes etching.
