H.M.S. Albion Entering Malta Harbour

'Albion' is shown in broadside view from her starboard side entering Malta harbour. The artist has situated the viewer on land, adjacent to what may be Saint Angelo Fort, which dominates the foreground on the right. Four figures appear on the rocky foreshore, apparently welcoming the ship into the harbour, while a fishing vessel and two small passenger boats appear to her stern.

On the mount on the lower left, the words are inscribed: 'Lith. M Str Reale'
