Medway

Print from Moses' 'Sketches of Shipping', entitled 'Medway'. Signed, dated and inscribed by the artist. A view on the Medway, possibly at Sheerness, since it seems to be a breezy and estuarial one, with hulks laid up alongside the dockyard wall. The shipping is practically all naval. For the preparatory drawing, dated 9 August 1824, see PAE9913.
